“The water park was a highlight of our stay. My kids had an absolute blast in the separate indoor pool area which had a mini slide perfect for toddlers and a larger water slide that was thrilling for everyone. On our second day, when the pool wasn't busy, the kids enjoyed every moment swimming and playing, and they were sad to say goodbye when it was time to check out.” view full review

“We were upgraded to a fantastic suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which gave us plenty of space for our family. The suite featured a full kitchen that allowed us to prepare meals with ease, a jetted tub for relaxation, and even a cozy fireplace that made our nights feel special. Sunset Resort has potential, sitting in a great location close to Canmore, but it feels a bit outdated and requires some improvements. Our two-bedroom unit had a full kitchen, and while it was clean, the decor and noise levels left much to be desired. The service was decent, with a knowledgeable staff member, but the strict rules regarding towels and dishwashing were off-putting. It's convenient for accessing national parks, but definitely needs upgrades to truly shine.

We had an amazing family getaway at this resort! The spacious suite was perfect for our needs, with a fantastic water park to keep the kids entertained. However, the entryway to the pool area could use an upgrade, as it felt overwhelmed at times. Overall, it was a memorable experience and great value for a winter break.

I had a mixed experience at Sunset Resort. On one hand, the rooms were quite spacious and comfortable with a nice kitchen setup, which offered great value for the price. However, there were some concerns regarding the overall cleanliness and some outdated aspects of the furnishings. The customer service was also lacking in a couple of areas, making it hard to fully enjoy my stay.
