Sunset Mountain Inn, Canmore

Sunset Resort has potential, sitting in a great location close to Canmore, but it feels a bit outdated and requires some improvements. Our two-bedroom unit had a full kitchen, and while it was clean, the decor and noise levels left much to be desired. The service was decent, with a knowledgeable staff member, but the strict rules regarding towels and dishwashing were off-putting. It's convenient for accessing national parks, but definitely needs upgrades to truly shine.

We had an amazing family getaway at this resort! The spacious suite was perfect for our needs, with a fantastic water park to keep the kids entertained. However, the entryway to the pool area could use an upgrade, as it felt overwhelmed at times. Overall, it was a memorable experience and great value for a winter break.
